South African rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer born January 30th, 1982 in Alexandra, a township on the outskirts of Johannesburg, Gauteng, Republic of South Africa.
Starting his career in the late nineties as a member of Saudi Western and Glitterati, L-Tido launched his solo career in 2009 with his independently released "City Of Gold" mixtape. He subsequently won the 2009 Channel O's Most Gifted Newcomer award without having released an album. His debut album "All Or Nothing" was released in 2011.
L-Tido also had a widely publicized falling out with fellow South African rapper A.K.A, which resulted in a number of diss tracks before the two settled their differences.
