Female retro-soul duo that was signed to Truth & Soul Records. The duo (Nicole Wray and Terri Walker) toured with Lee Fields in 2012 as his backup singers. In 2013, they released their self-titled album. Walker left the group during their tour in 2013. This prompted Wray to reform the act as "Lady, the Band" along with two backup singers and a band for the duration of the tour. The act was disbanded in 2014 and Wray adopted the name in 2016 as Lady Wray after she signed to Truth & Soul.
