Ladyhawk formed in February 2004 in Vancouver.
During the making of Shots, a documentary was filmed about the band, called "Let Me Be Fictional" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBBB5UnPXO8).
The songs "Drunk Eyes" and "The Dugout" (from Ladyhawk) can be heard in the 2009 film The Thaw.
The band went on hiatus in 2012, but reformed in 2014.Shorty after, they went on hiatus again.
