LaMar Boschman

Canadian singer, songwriter, worship leader, teacher and author from Prince George, British Columbia. LaMar was instrumental in the development of the contemporary Praise & Worship movement, particularly during the 1980s-1990s. LaMar wrote a series of books on the topic of Praise & Worship that had a unique impact on many artists and songwriters who went on to become well-known in the genre. Additionally, LaMar is known for having formed the International Worship Institute (IWI) in Dallas, Texas, which helped to provide education, training and worship encounters through teaching resources, conferences, and events that gathered some of the most prolific and influential voices in the worship community. In addition to writing and teaching on worship, LaMar recorded a series of popular worship albums with Integrity's Hosanna! Music during the early days of the label, as well as Maranatha! Music and Cherub Records, through which he released his own solo and collaborative projects with other artists involved with IWI.
