He wrote the vignette music for Ika Nord's children's program Ika i rutan and Ikas TV-kalas in the late 1980s, after which he made his record debut with the album Pank in 1990. Through a continued solo career, he has released around 10 albums. Demian's music is characterized by pithy, absurdist songs about life and society.
