Lars K. Andersen

Danish lyricist, writer and singer, born 27 November 1960. With high school friend Troels Bech the nucleus of alternative rock band Poets Of The Signature, founded in 1981 and renamed into The Poets in 1985. After the group disbanded in 1993 Andersen, an ex-journalist, had a brief period of songwriting with Povl Kristian of Hotel Hunger, Peter Peter Schneidermann of Sort Sol and ex-band mate Aud Wilken, but ultimately enrolled at the Danish National Film School to become a successful screenwriter. For a decade he lived in Buenos Aires, but by 2012 he was back in Copenhagen, where he has been involved in several Danish and international television series, feature films and documentaries.
