Originally a solo project by Neil Barnes in 1990, Leftfield quickly became a collaboration with [a=Paul Daley], one that lasted until 2002 when they split. During that time, 2 albums were released - Leftism in 1995 and Rhythm And Stealth in 1999. In 2010 Neil restarted the band without Paul and has toured a great deal since with many of the original other collaborators such as [a=Adam Wren], Earl Sixteen & Cheshire Cat. A third album Alternative Light Source was released in 2015 and a fourth This Is What We Do (in collaboration with Adam Wren) in 2022, one that was rapidly followed by the This Is What We Do. Version Excursion remix album.
