    Born June 7, 1845 Veszprém, Kingdom of Hungary Died July 15, 1930 (aged 85) Loschwitz, Germany.
    He trained many great violinists including: Enric Madriguera, Jascha Heifetz, Mischa Elman, Efrem Zimbalist, and many, many others. Among these were "some of the greatest violinists" of the twentieth century.
