    Lewis Lymon & The Teenchords

Doo-wop group formed in 1956 in Washington Heights, New York City, best known for their song "Your Last Chance".

The original lineup included lead tenor Lewis Lymon (younger brother of Frankie Lymon), first tenor Ralph Vaughn, second tenor Rossilio Rocca, baritone Lyndon Harold, and bass David Little. The group's name was inspired by Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers.

Their debut single, "I'm So Happy" backed with "Lydia," was released in December 1956 on Bobby Robinson's undefined label. Despite the initial excitement, the single did not achieve significant commercial success. The Teenchords continued to perform and record but by the beginning of 1959, they were history. While they managed to secure a lot of big-time appearances, the lack of a national chart hit would finally do them in.

The Teenchords remain a notable part of doo-wop history, especially due to Lewis Lymon's familial connection to Frankie Lymon.
