About

Anton Ivanovich Poluykov was born on August 24th, 1990 in Barnaul, Altai Krai, Russia. Anton's parents are music related, and no doubt, that played the role. His father is a guitarist and traveler and his mother is a civil servant, but she has a beautiful and a very strong voice. They often spent their evenings singing songs at home with friends. And even if Anton did not show any interest in music at first, he definitely was in the right place at the right time. But still he started to learn music when he first saw music video "Faint" by Linkin Park. Anton was 13 and that music changed the whole world for him, because all that he heard before were some pop tracks from Europa Plus radio. That was the moment when he once and for all decided for himself to be a musician. He took his father's guitar and began to learn the basics. Later on, Anton got acquainted with the music of a pop punk band Blink 182. Inspired by it's drummer Travis Barker, he began to play drums in Palace of Culture "Sibenergomash", where he and his future band spent countless hours. After graduating from high school in 2007, Anton went to Altai State Technical University, but a year later he left it, when he formed an instrumental rock band. In 2009 the band decided to move to the next level, they invited a new drummer, and Anton became the band's lead vocalist and guitarist. The same time, on the recommendation of his mother, Anton went to the Linguistic Institute and this is the time when first concert activity of the band has begun. For two years the guys has been touring the Altai Territory and Siberia, but in 2011 the band broke up. Anton started his own way. A few months later he found album "In Silico" of an Australian band "Pendulum", they combined rock and drum'n'bass in their work. Anton decided to combine that style with orchestra, he liked Hans Zimmer sound since "Gladiator" movie. After a few unsuccessful experiments, he accidentally found an electronic rock producer "Blue Stahli", who announced a remix contest for his song "Metamorphosis". The result was a remix made exactly in the style that Anton sought, and that was the first work of "Lifetheory". In 2013, he received an offer to take part in an unusual ethnic project, as one of the producers and drummers. Having lost interest in his specialty Anton abandoned his studies again. As a result, part of 2013 was on tour, where Anton acquired valuable experience about how to play and produce music with different ethnic instruments. Lifetheory has produced a wide variety of remixes and originals between 2013 and 2016. As a result on January 15, 2017 he released a debut album "Daisy".
