Shane Heneghan (Model) & Eamon Downes (Ame) met at the 'Pauls 4 Music' record shop where Ame was working. They sampled "Sweet Harmony", copied the piano riff and vocals from [r122113], and after borrowing some money from a friend to put out the first Liquid record, they not only managed to succeed in the dance chart, but also in the national chart; reaching no.15 in the UK.
Model left the group after Sweet Harmony, leaving Ame to produce solo. They took their name from a 1990 house tune by Dream 2 Science entitled "My Love Turns to Liquid".
