Long Island Sound

Dublin duo Long Island Sound (Rob Roche and Tim Nolan) are known for their euphoric-but-introspective take on electronic music. Toeing the line between big emotion and big room energy, the pair present dreamy and dynamic explorations of house, techno, breaks and electro via their own imprint, Signs of Space. Breaking through in 2019 with the label’s first EP, Initial Ascent, the duo went on to release their first full-length, Lost Connection, which Resident Advisor described as ‘glorious, heart-tugging sunset techno’. Following the success of their debut LP and a sold-out launch party in Dublin’s Tengu, in 2022 the pair embarked on their Summer festival tour, culminating in a standout set at All Together Now.

2023 sees the pair pushing their label and sound further into uncharted territory. With the imminent release of Lost Connection Remixed this coming Spring, their album is set to be reinterpreted by some of the most exciting producers in electronic music. Further releases on Signs of Space this year, along with forthcoming label club shows, will further solidify Long Island Sound’s reputation as purveyors and producers of quality electronic music.
