Los Exploradores

Los Exploradores is an Eclectic Prog band from Tondheim, Norway that was formed around 2011/12 by Ole Mathias Samuelsen (keyboards) and Stian Molvik (drums). The band was created to be an outlet for the artists musical creativity. Soon, the duo was joined by Eirik Hjodtdahl (guitars) and Eivind Knutsen (bass). The name Los Exploradores was chosen to reflect the idea that band members felt like they were explorers traveling the different global soundscapes to find ideas and create their music. Molvik infortunately had to leave Tondheim, but was eventually replaced by percussionist Kristoffer Rystad. This union of musicians soon began writing long instrumental pieces based and inspired by music and stories from all over the world.
