Mabel Todd

American vaudeville and radio comedienne, singer and actress.
Born August 13, 1907 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Died June 2, 1977 (age 69) in Los Angeles, California, USA.
First wife of actor/comedian Morey Amsterdam (1933-1946, divorce).
Todd began her career in vaudeville. Mabel started singing on the radio where she nicknamed “The Little Ray of Sunshine”. She and her husband comedian Amsterdam worked together on "The Laff and Swing Club" radio show. Mabel made her film debut in the 1937 musical "Varsity Show". They divorced in 1946.
She appeared in a few more films and continued to work on the radio and appeared in several stage shows.
