Maman Micheline Shabani

Micheline Bonzale Iyanza Shabani, after her husband Winkole Shabani, is a Congolese gospel singer-songwriter that grew up in Kiri, Bandundu. She began singing at the age of 9 at the local Catholic Church. She worked in a pharmacy where she was already retained at the end of the internship in the second year, then in a pharmaceutical depot.


In 1994, she joined the Ministry of Spiritual Warfare where she also became involved in the choir as moderator and leader of the worship team.
Some time later, she took the initiative to carry out adoration on CVV radio, always with the team that she formed, and also to appear on television broadcasts. This is how the team gained momentum and supporters pushed them to make their first album. The album was officially released with Gospel Records (6) and was titled Jésus La Pierre Angulaire (L'adoration Rien Que L'adoration). In 2005, while the album was still fresh in mind, another one was released, "Jésus, L'Espoir De Ma Vie (Cadeau Non Emballé)".

For Maman Shabani, life without Jesus is worth reconsidering and is not worth living. Giving himself to God is the best thing a man can do. Shabani believes he did and received all kinds of blessings from God. Today, she is a woman filled with joy and she does not hesitate to testify to what Jesus Christ has done in her life. Micheline Shabani affirms that her source of inspiration is none other than God. It is through prayer, biblical meditation that God speaks to her.
