Mana (born March 19th in Hiroshima) is a Japanese musician, producer and fashion designer. Famed for his role as the leader and guitarist of the influential visual kei band Malice Mizer (1992-2001), he had previously been a member of the punk band が～る'e (as Serina) and the gothic band 摩天楼 (1991-1992). During the 90's he has also been guest guitarist of Art Marju Duchain in several concerts.
Mana's most recent project is Moi dix Mois, a solo musical venture he started in 2002.
Since his Malice Mizer days he is running his own record label Midi:Nette and acted as the producer of the darkwave duo Schwarz Stein. For a while he was also the producer and music composer of the akiba-kei idol Kanon Wakeshima.
