Marianne Flynner

Swedish singer, born Flynner, 16 September 1954 in Stockholm.

During the 1980s, she traveled with undefined and sang in a choir with, among others, Roxette and Eva Dahlgren.

She lived in California for eight years and then went to Adolf Fredrik's music school.

In the United States, she was influenced by country music. During the second half of 1993 came her first album with her own songs, Country Girl, which went into 47th place on the Swedish album list. In 1994 came the second, Tic-Tac Time, and in 1996 the third - Said and done. These albums featured acoustic, country-inspired folk rock.

In 1995, together with Susanne Alfvengren and Åsa Jinder, she had a hit with "Det är nu!", A football song for the Swedish ladies before the World Cup the same year in Sweden.

On January 4, 1997, the melody "Den sista december" tried to reach the Swedish Svensk toppen, but did not make the list.

Another famous song is "Hennes ögon" from 1996, written by Lotta Ahlin. The song was sent to the Melodifestivalen in 1996 but was not selected. The song was recorded as a cover by Jill Johnson in 1998.

The surname is taken by her father who admired the actor Errol Flynn.
