    Dutch singer (* 01 October 1947 in The Hague, The Netherlands; † 02 December 2006 in The Hague, The Netherlands).

    From 1968 to 1974, she was the singer of Shocking Blue.
    Born to Hungarian and German parents, she was the daughter of the gypsy violinist Veres Lajos, and often accompanied her father on the piano. She recorded a couple of solo singles before joining a group called The Bumble Bees.
