Martin Price was the owner of Manchester's influential Eastern Bloc record shop and Creed Records. He left 808 State at the peak of their success in late '91, not wanting to undertake an extensive Stateside tour. Soon after he formed the short-lived Switzerland and later managed Rochdale rappers Kaliphz.
