He wrote the songs "Petit chagrin," "À la belle étoile," "Chanson de rien," "Mirlitaine et Mirliton," "Avril," and "Les Petits Pavés." He also wrote "La Chanson du cœur brisé," which went under the name "Song of Songs" in the US.
