American singer songwriter, folk artist and multi-instrumentalist from New Jersey, currently based in San Francisco (USA). She first came to prominence as a founding member of the Philadelphia psychedelic folk group Espers, having grown up in the folk traditions. (Baird is the great-great niece of Isaac Garfield "I.G." Greer, a historian and Appalachian folk singer born in 1881.) Sister of Laura Baird.
