Swedish vocalist/composer, born Febuary 12, 1969 in Nynäshamn, Sweden as Anna Pernilla Bäckman de domo Torndahl, primo voto Bäckman. Her debut goes back to the Ystads City theatre stage. She was the lead singer of a Swedish Dance act "Legacy Of Sound". After the band dismantled Meja went on with her career and enjoyed a generally big success over the Mainland Europe, Japan and other parts of South-East Asia. Her biggest hits are "All 'Bout the Money" and "Private Emotion" with Ricky Martin.
