Micheline Roquebrune was born on April 4, 1929 in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France.

Micheline Roquebrune is a Moroccan-French painter best known as the second wife of the legendary Scottish actor Sir Sean Connery. As an artist, she is known for portraying her subjects in vibrant colors, often seated peacefully in direct or informal settings. She creates her paintings using "simplified forms, unexpected croppings and changes of scale" in order to draw the viewers right into the action. She has a diverse artistic interest that goes beyond painting. She also produces plays, including the 'Tony Award' winning Broadway hit 'Art'. She was a golfer at a young age and won many tournaments as well. She was part of the crew on her husband's 1983 film 'Never Say Never Again'. She has also made a couple of appearances as herself on the documentary 'Sean Connery, an Intimate Portrait' (2002) and the TV series '20h10 pétantes' (2003).
