Mickey Taveras

Mickey Taveras parents are. Raul Almánzar and Modesta Taveras Ecuadorian descent. This album was a bestseller worldwide, mainly in America. In Colombia it achieved record sales exceeding 500,000 copies, with which Mickey Taveras won the prize for best interpreter at the festival in Vina del Mar in 1996.

His second album was more romantic and held successful songs as "My history between your fingers" and thanks to this and several more singles, won a nomination for Premios Lo Nuestro.

Later, he launches another record album, but this time the genre bachata, which is titled Being Romantic Sigo: Greatest Hits Bachata, but this, unlike his predecessors albums, fails to great marketing and success, although Mickey Taveras received a nomination for the Latin Grammy Awards.

In 2013, will release two albums with a unique quality. "I'll wait" consists of three sauces, 3 to 5 bachatas meringues.
