About

British late 1960s psychedelic rock group based in Brighton. Stuart Hobday (Vocals), Brian Bennett (guitar), Gary 'Roscoe' Murphy (drums), Roger McCabe (bass). They changed their name to Leviathan when they signed to Elektra in early 1969. Leviathan issued a trio of singles but when their intended debut album was cancelled at the eleventh hour by label president Jac Holzman that proved to be a crushing blow that led to the break-up of the band.
