Minit was an Australian experimental electronics duo, formed in 1997 by Jasmine Guffond and Torben Tilly at Sydney. They use electronics, digital, sampling and mixing to manipulate recorded and "found" sounds and to transcend conventional instrumental approaches to musical composition.
Minit produced their debut album on New Zealand label Sigma Editions in 1999, following up with a European tour with Vladislav Delay, Parmentier and D.Haines. In 2000, they released the cc / bb LP on Sigma Editions and again toured in Europe. Guffond and Tilly also collaborate on film soundtracks and surround sound installations for galleries and museums. Later in 2004 they debuted internationally with drone album on Sigma Editions.
