Miss Nine

DJ Miss Nine has been a major presence on the dance scene for quite some years now. With her eclectic taste in music, ranging from energetic grooves with plenty of vocals to a deeper, progressive sound, Miss Nine turns heads and moves feet anywhere she performs.

Miss Nine was born in Germany as Kristin Schrot and at the age of 16, she started her career – not as a DJ, but as a model. Shortly thereafter, she secured a worldwide contract with Elite Model Management. After moving to Amsterdam, she discovered her passion for music which eventually led her become a DJ as well. In 2003, only a few months after touching the decks, she became a resident DJ at the legendary Motion parties where she evolved as an artist. She went on tour with Deep Dish, Avicii, Tiesto shared the stage with David Guetta, Major Lazer, M83, Digitalism, BigBang, Don Diablo, 2NE1, Kaskade, Fedde Le Grand, Bob Sinclair, Skrillex, DVBBS and many other artists..

Fronting her own recording imprint, Miss Nine has created a home for her own releases and a vehicle for promising artists and music she strongly supports. Through her label, the Nine brand takes another leap forward in servicing the dance floor with heavy rotation music. Alongside her soaring DJ career, Miss Nine is also an international model under her real name Kristin Schrot having worked on numerous photoshoots for Elle, Cosmopolitan, Shape magazine and campaigns for iconic brand such as Tommy Hilfiger and Levi’s. In addition to having been the proclaimed ambassador to the Curve ID jeans from Levi’s®, Miss Nine was also the face of Pioneer DJ 350 series and the stunning Limited Edition White CDJ-2000s.

Miss Nine is also involved with Plan Nederland which is an organization that assists children all across the world. Her goal is to serve as a motivation to children showing them that dreams can come true. Miss Nine is the first and only female DJ who signed a residency with Club XS in Las Vegas which was voted No 1 Club in the USA for the 6th year in a row.
