Mixael Cabrera Caballero, a native of Botin, Sitio Grande, Cifuentes, Villa Clara, Cuba, was born on July 3, 1983. Singer-songwriter, tres player, composer and producer, he belongs to the new generation of Cuban musicians, who are committed to preserving the most authentic elements of their culture through his remarkable musical production that ranges from the most traditional Son to timba.
His beginnings in music were at the early age of 3 years influenced by his grandfather and teacher Isidro Cabrera. In his early childhood he had various participations in children's festivals, being his incorporation into the "Ángel Román González Borrell Provincial Center for Overcoming Culture" in the province of Villa Clara, thus reaching the evaluation of a professional musician in the Cuban tres instrument when he was 21 years old. He later joined the groups "Centroson" and "Villagranm".
