Modificacion

Spanish musical group from Valencia, which were originally called "Club 33" of Valencia. In 1969 and after changes in the line-up, they decided to change the name to "Modification", its members being: José Sapiña Gil, singer; Manuel Amorós Romero, drums; Joaquín Gaspar Alfonso "Ximo", bass guitar; Rafael Pinazo Monterde, on keyboards; Luis Miguel Pinazo Monterde, as guitar; these last two brothers. In the early 1970s José Piña Gil was replaced by Juan Bautista Conca of (Aldaia - València) singer, and who would later triumph alone as Juan Bau. Being the opening act for Lone Star, their leader and singer Pedro Gené took an interest in the group, and produced their first album in 1971 with the EMI group REGAL label. In 1972, Juan Bau left the group and Luis Miguel Font Giner "Foni" joined. Manuel Amorós leaves the group and joins the Búffalo group, formed by Vicente Ausina "Charly", they have been performing every day for nine months in Ibiza. His position in Modification is occupied by José Luis Correcher. Finished the summer of 1972, the group Búffalo dissolves, and Manuel Amorós returns with Modification, bringing Vicente Ausina "Charly", thus giving himself to the group's fourth formation. With this group they recorded their second single with the label La Corrida, with the songs "Gritemos, hey, hey, hey", and on the B side "El tren approaches me to my home". Guillermo Fernández joined the piano and recorded his third single in 1974, side A "Acroos The Time", and side B "Te Espero". Luis Pinazo recorded the album, but it does not appear on the cover for leaving the group. In 1975, the Modification line-up was: Vicente Ausina "Charly", singer; Rafa Pinazo, Hammond organ; Guillermo Fernández, keyboards; Jordi, guitar; Joaquín Gaspar, bass; and Manuel Amorós, drums. The group changes, with the powerful voice of "Charly", they change their style, more rhitm & blues, soul, funky. They did the twelve hours of Ademúz, something unforgettable for the group. They did not record any disc again, after breaking relations with the producers and with the label La Corrida. They were acting three more years in the Play Boy room in Alacant. At the end of August 1978, they took a vacation of several years. On May 27, 2013, a tribute to "Charly" is offered in the Durango room in Meliana - València, in which Modification, Eduardo Bort Band, La Yaya Canalla, and Atlético Esquelético, groups to which he was linked, performed " Charly ", during his professional life as a singer.
