    Moreno Veloso was born November 22, 1972, in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil. Son of Bossa Nova's legend Caetano Veloso, he released his first record in 2000, though his debut as singer AND songwriter was in 1982, with "Um Canto De Afoxé Para O Bloco Do Ilê", on his father's album "Cores, Nomes".
