    The group was formed in UK 1985 by individuals interested in exploring the possibilities of live electronics and collective improvisation. The members have diverse musical backgrounds, including teaching electronic music at Morley College and playing in other groups ranging from Cornelius Cardew's Scratch Orchestra, Nurse With Wound and Organum. Clive Graham runs Paradigm Discs. Michael Prime runs Mycophile which mainly releases his own music. Adam Bohman continues to make improvised music with many London artists. Most recent Morphogenesis concert was in September 2015 at Café OTO in London
