Morris On

Morris On is not a real band, but rather a project led by Ashley Hutchings to revisit English Morris dance tunes and songs, played with a combination of traditional and modern instruments. Following the success of the first release, the concept was expanded in a series of other albums - and also in concert - with contributions from many various artists.

The "Morris On" series includes the following albums : Morris On (1972), Son Of Morris On (1976), Grandson Of Morris On (2002), Great Grandson Of Morris On (2004), Morris On The Road (2005)
None of these albums are credited to a seemingly "Morris On" band (who doesn't really exist as an entity), but several compilations have used this moniker to simplify the credit (or by ignorance).
