Mosaik started in 2001 as a project primarily focused on melodic ambient electronica. The founder, Jakob Svanholm, has since then released both solo and collaborative music on major netlabels like Monotonik, Kahvi Collective and Soft Phase. In the 1990's he was an active chiptune musician in the demoscene known as Radix.
