Viner, 26, first emerged from a cloud of roll-up smoke in 2003, with the release of his eponymous debut album on the Hollywood Dim Mak label. His second album, This Boy Don’t Care followed a year later on Loog. Tours have included support slots with [a=Spiritualized], blues legend [a=Dr. John] and, most recently, [a=The White Stripes] on their 2007 European tour.
