American gospel music alto singer. Born March 30, 1949 in Washington D.C. She's performed professionally for over four decades and is now the Minister of Music at Reid Temple A.M.E. Church in Glenn Dale, Maryland. She has recorded 19 albums between 1970 and 2006, starting with "God Gave Me a Song" and her 2006 release "Mountain Get Out of My Way".
