Nadya Gordon

Nadya Gordon, née Cataldo (b. November 1944 or 1945) is an American pianist endorsed by Steinway & Sons who lives in Winnetka, California. She studied with Sergei Tarnowsky and was best known as part of a two-piano duo with her husband, Steven Gordon (ca.1945—1990), active from their marriage in 1971 until his premature death. Nadya and Robert Gordon toured worldwide and performed a broad repertoire of classical and contemporary works written for two pianos. They also produced several critically acclaimed albums, primarily on Steinway & Sons, including the first-ever complete cycle of Maurice Ravel's two piano works. In 1985, the Steinway & Sons released a feature-length TV documentary, Virtuoso Pianist, dedicated to Gordons.
