A grindcore/extreme metal band from Örebro, Sweden, active between 1992–2004. In 2004 vocalist/guitarist Mieszko Talarczyk went for a holiday to Thailand with his girlfriend to celebrate his 30th birthday. During this time a disastrous tsunami hit South-East Asia killing over 150 000 people and Talarczyk was among the missing people. His body was identified almost two months after the incident, during which time the remaining Nasum members already had faced the facts and decided to end the band. Talarczyk was buried the 30th of March 2005. In 2012 the remaining members returned for a final farewell tour with Keijo Niinimaa (of Rotten Sound) on vocals.
