Nathan Scott, (May 11, 1915 – February 27, 2010)

Composer, arranger and conductor. After majoring in music at UC Berkeley, Scott worked as an arranger for Bing Crosby's music director, John Scott Trotter. Known for his work on the popular TV shows Dragnet and Lassie in the 50s and 60s. Scott was honored by the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers in 2001.
Father of Tom Scott.
