Navid Modiri & Gudarna

Swedish music group fronted by radio host and artist Navid Modiri. The idea of a band was founded in February 2003 when singer and frontman Navid Modiri met drummer Povel Olsson for the first time. In March 2004, guitarist Conrad Boqvist also joined, and several additional members of the band were added. The band's first ever gig was at the Hultsfredsfestivalen and since then they have done over 300 live gigs. The band's second guitarist Kristofer Göransson is a teacher at Donnergymnasiet in Gothenburg and is a singer in the pop band Kris Gordon. David Byström, who is a trombonist in the band, also plays with the reggae band Kultiration.
