About

American psychedelic and garage rock band formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1967 and disbanded in 1969 following two commercially unsuccessful albums. Named after the Yardbirds' song "The Nazz Are Blue" Nazz is best known for featuring multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Todd Rundgren before he reached critical acclaim as a solo artist in the 1970s. Their most famous songs include the Rundgren originals "Open My Eyes" and "Hello It's Me."
