Nezih Uzel (born in Mudanya, Turkey in 1938) is a Turkish bender player. He got interested in Sufism at the age of 18 and frequented the "Tekke ouzbek", one of the few sufi meeting places that remained open despite the official forbidding. He was a student of Sheikh Nedjmeddin Ouzbek, Dervish Mouammer and Ulvi Erguner. He has been a member of the Radio-Istanbul Orchestra since 1960.
