Percussionist, born Febuary 27th 1946, Makassar, Sulawesi, Indonesia, son of the japanese Taiko drummer Fusao Nakato San. Moved to Amsterdam in 1968 and subsequently did a lot of work with various bands and artists in Germany in the '70s and '80s as well as international touring, he has been involved in the recording of more than 200 albums.
Since 1992 Noya is head of a department at the conservatory of music in Enschede.
