Born April 28, 1911 in Vernon, Texas, Died June 6, 1996 in San Francisco, California.
She began her professional career in Oklahoma City, performing on piano and violin, In the 1920s. Norma played freelance in California for Ben Pollack, Matty Matlock, Ada Leonard, Ray Bauduc and others. She toured with her brother Jack from 1944–1947 and from 1952–1955.
Her brothers were trumpeter Charlie Teagarden, trombonist and bandleader Jack Teagarden, and drummer (Clois) Cubby Teagarden and daughter of pianist Helen Teagarden.
