Orient-Express were an obscure 1980s male/female duo, in that unnamed field of French music that's not really RIO (Rock In Opposition, left-field Henry Cow, etc.) nor Zeuhl (Magma styled) but on the edge of both. They comprised Erik Baron (bass, etc.) and Pascale Jakubowski (singer, multi-instrumentalist) plus their "machines". They only released one cassette during their lifetime, plus a few compilation contributions.
