Otto (June, 28, 1968) is one of the most important Brazilian artists from the new generation in Brazil called "New MPB". He was born in Pernambuco, Brazil. Otto was the former percussionist from the group Mundo Livre S/A (he recorded 2 albums with this group). He also played with two of the pioneers of the Brazilian musical movement called "Manguebeat", Chico Science and Fred 04, mixing instruments of percussion with electronic sounds.
