Combining tuneful college rock with industrial programming, Passafist formed from ex-members of the group Chagall Guevara. Dave Perkins had also produced for Randy Stonehill, Steve Taylor and Pam Mark Hall, while L. Arthur Nichols has produced Russ Taff and Phil Keaggy. Passafist released a seven-track, self-titled album on R.E.X. Music in 1994.
