Paul Klein

American songwriter of the 1950s. Often collaborated with lyricist Fred Ebb. Together, they wrote their first book musical, "Morning Sun". Klein contributed songs to the cabaret revue "Isn't America Fun" (1959) and the Broadway revue "From A to Z" (1960).
Hits Klein and Ebb wrote together include "Close the Door", "Good and Lonesome" (also co-written by Larry Coleman), "Little Blue Man", "That Do Make It Nice" (also co-written by Eddy Arnold) "Summer Sweetheart", "I'll Wait" and "Ev'ry Second Of" (also co-written by Redd Evans). The songs all charted between 1955-58, with "That Do Make It Nice" by Eddy Arnold hitting #1 on the U.S country charts.
Klein retired from the music industry in the late 1950's for a more stable life.
