Pedro Burruezo

Pedro Ángel Burruezo Navarro, leader of Claustrofobia musical group (80’s and 90’s), a pioneer group in mestizo sounds in Spain, after a stage of silence, returned to the show in front of the Bohemia Camerata. The group published in 2005, for K Industria Cultural, “Barcelona Intimíssimo Café”, Then “Multaqa Antigua Contemporània” and “Misticísssimus” would arrive, in its simple version and in its version with the Cypsella Coral, under the direction of Monti Galdón. Later, with the Claustrophobic Camerata, "The damn soundtrack" was created. The latest work "Dervishes & Troubadours", with two formations, Burruezo & Nur Camerata + Wafir S. Gibril and Burruezo & Medievalia Camerata. All the albums have been published by Satellite K, except "The Soundtrack ...", which was published by a Swedish label. Since the reappearance, in 2005, records, commissions of soundtracks, works for advertising, collaborations with the theater (Marta Millà, "Mahabbat") and dance (Un Sol Traç. "Itimad"). The life, work and eco-activism of Burruezo are summarized in the documentary film by José López "The 3 lives of Pedro Burruezo" (López for Verne Films. 2014).
