Born on February 6, 1927 in New York, New York State, USA.
Brother of Ray Terrace. Born to Puerto Rican parents.

After 1969, Pete Terrace withdrew from the music scene and fell back into anonymity to become Pedro / Peter Gutierrez again and practice medicine in Puerto Rico.
