Peter Mayne

Peter is a London-based film and television composer, whose music has been used on programmes and commercials around the world. Learning the piano from the age of five, he also studied composition, flute, violin, viola, organ and percussion. As an undergraduate, he studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and soon after graduating, he was invited to become a professor at the college. He has scored music on adverts for clients such as Save the Children, Forest Holidays, Friends of the Earth and Battersea Dogs' Home. He has provided sound design for clients such as Microsoft, Renault and Volvo and has written music for BBC documentaries and the recent ITV factual programme I Never Knew That About Britain.
